Golden Roast (Palmerson)

Good place to eat not to big so is nice, I got a large pork roast, it was very nice and the pork was nice and tender, but the pork could of done with more crackle put in because I love crackle, and it's had lots of vegetables, it come with potatoes, pumpkin, kumara, carrots, peas, and apple sauce and gravy, the large pork roast could feed 2 people, and it only cost $24.90 for large, so I think that good value, and they also have lamb, beef, chicken, corn beef, they also have good prices on heaps of other food items, and very friendly fast service, I would recommend place to anyone who likes nice food and a good roast like you would cook at home 😊

Yummmmmmmm!!! The food was soooo good. The meat was super moist and you get so much of it. The pork crackling was to die for, and definitely one of the best cracklings I’ve ever had. Great service, and really fast. Only waited 2 minutes after ordering and it was ready. Staff were friendly, and the price was great for how much you get. I’ll be definitely getting my roasts from here from now on.

One of those great little 'when you need to grab a quick bite' sort of places. Good (basic) food served quickly with no fuss. A favorite when we're passing through Palmy.

Roast pork was really nice but the crackling I got was pretty soft/bad. I need to try this again as it had some awesome flavours.
